Why Salmon Creek?

 

Salmon Creek is situated in the northwestern area of Vancouver, WA. Conveniently located near the I-5 and I-205 interchange, you can get to either highway easily. Salmon Creek Park and Ride is accessible for those who prefer to use public transportation. 

If you love the outdoors, check out Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond. Walking, running or biking along this gorgeous creek and wetlands, you can spot bald eagles, herons, geese, river otters, turtles and even more kinds of wildlife. In the summer there is a splash pad for younger children and you will often see fishing competitions at the pond. 

This area is flush with multipurpose trails! If you love to trail run/walk or play frisbee golf, the Cougar Trails at Vancouver’s Washington State University campus is a fabulous place to enjoy the great outdoors.
